Founder and Managing Partner at Šimkus Energy Consulting, Lithuania. Andrius is a qualified EU energy lawyer with over 15 years of post-qualification experience. He is currently developing his own legal consulting firm and leading a number of international technical assistance projects of the European Commission in Ukraine and Georgia.
Prior to that, he held positions as a member of the Board of Directors of Nord Pool AS, and Chief Legal Officer of Litgrid AB, a Lithuanian electricity transmission network operator. His experience also includes more than 5 years of work as a Gas Expert and Energy Lawyer at Energy Community.
